The Dating Experiment Review

Review for The Dating Experiment by Emma Hart
Releases May 8th

If you can count on Emma to include anything in her books, it would be her trademark sass and perfectly timed Friends and Harry Potter references. Emma Hart dove right in to the best friends brother trope and GIRL BROUGHT IT! On mannn she did not disappoint in her second installment in the Experiment Duet, The Dating Experiment!

The sass and energy that Chloe and Dom throw at each either sizzles and you can just feel the electricity off that couple. You get a first taste of both these characters, among many others, in the standalone book The Upside to Being Single. Dom's sister Peyton got her second chance romance in the first book in the duet, and Emma did an AMAZING job on wrapping up the series (I know technically it's a duet, but it just feels so.... series-ey?). Without spoiling anything, the epilogue wrapped up everything beautifully and I couldn't imagine a better place for these characters that Emma so charmingly imagined and lovingly wrote.

In The Dating Experiment specifically, you see all the components you would expect from the Queen of Rom-Com. Abundant in sass, the limit does not exist on the sarcasm, and swoon worthy scenes all combined for an amazing read. It was such a fun and light hearted book from start to finish, and I loved my break from the PNW for a quick jaunt down to good ol' New Orleans.
