Bloody hell, Pippa Grant has combined some of your favorite tropes to create a brilliantly hilarious, smexy, and angsty novel. This was my first book by her and it definitely will not be my last. Her characters are a breath of fresh air with their craziness, her plot sucked me in from the very first chapter, and her writing had me laughing and fanning myself from start to finish.
Manning is a prince so far down the line that the throne is nowhere in site. Betrothed at a young age, he does everything he can to simultaneously sow his wild outs and try to get himself an out from a marriage to an entitled, spoiled brat. Gracie is the younger sister of Joey (another Pippa character) and owns her own bakery. Diagnosed with dyslexia at a young age, Gracie never thought she would amount to anything because she was "stupid".
You will fall in love with these characters and won't be able to help cheering them on from the beginning.
