No Way in Hell will Give you ALLLLLL the Feels!

Fan's of the best friends to lovers trope are going to HAVE ALL THE FEELS for Greg and Lilly in No Way in Hell by Jordan Bates. Not only have they been inseparable for the past five years, he is also her boss and his family has slowly become hers. Jordan jumps right into it in her second book in The Ink Well Chronicles and marries off Greg Moran and Lilly Alexander in a quickie Vegas wedding. What follows is instant regret on Lilly's part, despite being in love with Greg for the past five years. She wants a divorce, he doesn't, and the judge sides with Greg. Off to marriage counseling they go for a one month marriage trial, before the judge will even THINK about granting a divorce.

What follows is some of the most cringe-worthy communication issues that are sure to drive you absolutely nuts. I was SO CLOSE to disliking Greg, thinking he had more issues than Vogue with his lack of communication and childish games, but Jordan sure does surprise you at the end. It was NOT all for nothing! She has some tricky scenes up her sleeve, as well as some seriously smexy ones ;)

Not only that, but the characters came completely full circle. Several years ago, Greg told Lilly she was his phoenix (see above quote). She was so touched by what he had said, that she got a tattoo of a phoenix and never really told him about it as she didn't want to make a big deal out of it. She is the feather in his life and he is her phoenix. The feathers on the chapter headings make all the more sense the more you read, and was an amazingly clever choice on Jordan's part. The phoenix and feather had some GREAT symbolism that I am surprised a lot of people haven't caught on to yet.

I highly recommend you give No Way in Hell a chance! Jordan is now one of my fav new authors to watch out for, I see big things for her in the future. I will be reading the first book in The Ink Well Chronicles (yes A little backwards, I know... But that's how I roll!) and reviewing as well, as soon as I make my way through some of the ARC's I have scheduled.
