Getaway Girl is the perfect blend of angst, passion, and sweetness between two friends turned to lovers. I cannot recommend this book enough! Addison is a sassy heroine who is confident in herself, or at least very good at faking confidence. Elijah is more straight and narrow, at least until he gets stood up at the altar by Addison's cousin. While on the outside he may be all by the book, but this man... Is a HUGE dirty talker! Not only is it not overly done or corny, like some authors tend to do, the dirty talking added to the heat of the scene and succeeds in being a huge turn on.
Tessa Bailey SUCKED me in with each and every word. I found myself rooting for these two characters who on paper were complete opposites, but in reality complimented each other in a way that was perfect for them. Despite all odds that were thrown at them, and all the words they let go unspoken, they were able to find their HEA. With some STEAMY ASS SCENES ALONG THE WAY!
